Cubemaker

Cubemaker. This packing problem consists of 5 equal sized game pieces made of 2 different types of wood (light and reddish wood).  Goal: Create reddish-colored dice by placing the components together so that the reddish segments of wood from 2 game pieces form a die. The resulting figures must be stable, stand alone.  Trying to make 3 or 4 red dice using the pieces is difficult - but making 5 red dice- Cubemaker.
