Micqaela grew up on the Duck Valley Indian Reservation of the Shoshone and Paiute Nations located 100 miles northeast of Elko, Nevada on the Idaho border. Her youth was filled with rich visual experiences, days spent hunting, fishing and enjoying the beauty of Nevada’s outdoors with her sister and two brothers.
